Dubai is a busy, bustling city in the United Arab Emirates, and it is one of the seven, beautiful Emirates. It can be all things, hot, very very hot, dusty, sandy, windy, calm, crazy, fast, slow, stressful, relaxing, beautiful city, oh, and sometimes we even get some rain, atogether, I love Dubai!

I love the beach, and I love swimming in the salt water here, which is the Persian Gulf. The water is warm all year round, and I am in it up to 3 times a week. I've been training with Pirates Surf Life Saving Club for over five-years. Pirates Dubai is fashioned on the Pirates Surf Lifesaving Club in Durban, South Africa, its a fun way to maintain fitness and learn surf safety.

Horse riding is another passion of mine. I love to ride at Mushrif Park Equestrian Club. It's a hot and dusty place, but it's so peaceful, only 20 minutes out of town, it feels like it's a world away.

Call me a Drama Queen, love, love, love drama, and I study at Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC). The arts scene is pretty amazing here, with several theatres at DUCTAC, Madinat, Courtyard Playhouse and we now have the Dubai Opera, which is such a lovely building with world-class shows.

Music, can't live without it. I have played drums and keyboard with Rock Camp for Girls UAE, performing live gigs for the last four years but my passion is singing and guitar, I play every day. There are loads of great venues here, and we are fortunate to get most of the worlds best artists on their world tours. I missed out on Ed Sheeran as the tickets sold out in 10 minutes, but I'm going to see Jenifer Lopez, which is going to be an awesome show.

Shopping, I'm not too fussed on shopping, but we do have the best and biggest malls in the world in Dubai, The biggest is The Dubai Mall which is a pretty amazing place with its immense Aquarium, Ice Skating and of course The Burj Khalifa, which is the worlds tallest building.

Mall of the Emirates is also a great place; it even has an indoor Ski Resort! I love hanging out here with my friends. My most favourite mall has to be Mercato Mall, which is less than 5 minutes from our place, it was the first mall in Dubai and has an Italian Market theme, everything you need can is found there, even Movies.

Movies, I go as often as I can, we are fortunate as we have great cinemas here in the UAE. I love all genres of movies, except Horror, can't do it. One thing I profess to be an expert on is the salted popcorn served at the movies, and Vox Cinemas have the very best!

To get around we have the fully-automated Dubai Metro Rail System, and it always runs on time, it is very safe, clean and did I say, they don't have any drivers!

Overall, Dubai is spectacular, and I am lucky to call Dubai home!

Does running water stop when it reaches a rock? Of course not. It turns either left or right, and continues its way. Likewise, a positive person is confident that no challenge will stand in the way of achieving his or her goal.
